Where: Nanjing Road, Shanghai
Who: A00 Architecture and Studio 1:1 (Photography by David Sundberg/Esto and Nacása & Partners)
Why: Previously housing a factory and a post office, A00 and Studio 1:1 neither erased nor enshrined the building's past but instead created a mix of existing and newly imagined elements.
