Airing a few years back, I wanted to take some time to reminisce the past.

Turntablism exploded onto the semi-mainstream scene back in the mid to late 90’s when Q-bert, Mix Master Mike, Flare, Craze, Swift, A-trak and others forever changed the role of the “DJ” into the artist. One of the first big corporations outside the music industry to take notice was GAP apparel (among others), and in effort to get more kids to buy their crap, in 2001 they commissioned the following commercial featuring the legends, Rob Swift (X-Ecutioners) and Shortkut (Invisibl Skratch Piklz).
