Based on a manga by Hiroshi Takahashi and directed by legendary Japanese Yakuza film God, Takashi Miike. Crows Zero is probably the best Japanese film I saw in 2007/2008.
Just peep the tailer. It features some hard hitting Yakuza shit, Fight Club style action/fighting, and the coolest art/film direction I have scene in a while.
