Introducing the new CR-X or Z
Inspired by the iconic Honda CR-X, this hybrid sports coupe comes stock with a system that allows an electric motor to work in tandem with a petrol engine, but not on its own. Energy from braking is used to help recharge the batteries and fuel the electrics.
According to Automotive News Europe, Honda plans to roll out the production CR-Z in 2009 or 2010, first in Europe before expanding production and distribution to the rest of the world.
Unfortunately, no engine or specs have been released.
I'm interested to see how close the production car will be to the concept, either way, the tuners will kill this one for sure....

I would like this car more if it didn't completely rip off the Saab Aero X concept car, released in 2006. (check it out at http://www.gm.ca/ss/gm/gallery.do?model=aerox&lang=en_CA&brand=saab)
The resemblance in the rear is quite apparent, but the simple truth is that Honda did it better.
cr-x is sick son... hatchbacks are the illest. i really wanna buy one to fix it up. except here only mexicans do that... oddly enough, cr-x's are becoming classic cars. my homie has one from japan...it's right side drive too. he's also mexican.
this car looks ill
