THANK YOU.
I was going through some personal shit last night. To relax I went for a walk by myself down Queen West. Aimlessly, I somehow found myself at graf store, The Bomb Shelter. There I meet Zion, he turns to me and tells me a story about hidden angels. How they come in all shapes, forms, and personalities. The next morning I wake up to find the answer to what was bothering me.Thanks Zion.... Hidden Angels do exist.PHOTO CREDIT/THANKS: on·tol·o·gy
WWWHHAATT!?!? BIGGIE... IN BAPE?? WHO KNEW...Rock him, diss him, either way I can care less. WHY? Because its undeniable that our man Nigo has weathered all doubts to create an empire that stands in its own category and transcends beyond the fashion world.... I only have respect for this man.Truth be told I love to collect books; art books, architecture books, photography books, comic books, porno books(word) - anything, I'm down son. Not much satisfies me more than turning a page of the perfect book, absorbing and appreciating every element. Hopefully I will be doing that soon with "A Bathing Ape"."Recently releasing his retrospective book, A Bathing Ape founder, Nigo relives the past 15 years of his company’s history. We take a journey back to the time when the label was rocked by Biggie and his first tee production in 1993 to its late 90’s boom. The book holds a unique tribute to street wear, educating the reader about a history clearly better read than heard and a look into what has become of the small entity turned Japanese empire. Holding a mass influence in fashion around the globe, this Bape piece is definitely a must have for any fan or fashion enthusiast." - Luis Ruano from HypebeastA Bathing ApeWritten by Nigo, Ian Luna and Akio IidaHardcover, 384 pagesRizzoli | Art - FashionNovember 2008 | $60.00 USD | ISBN 978-0-8478-3051-0 (0-8478-3051-9)SOURCE AND THANKS: Hypebeast & LaMJC
