"I thought of making an ultimate wooden architecture. It was conceived by just mindlessly stacking 350mm square."
"Lumber is extremely versatile. In an ordinary wooden architecture, lumber is effectively differentiated according to functions in various localities precisely because it is so versatile. Columns, beams, foundations, exterior walls, interior walls, ceilings, floorings, insulations, furnishings, stairs, window frames, meaning all. However, I thought if lumber is indeed so versatile then why not create architecture by one rule that fulfills all of these functions. I envisioned the creation of new spatiality that preserves primitive conditions of a harmonious entity before various functions and roles differentiated."
"There are no separations of floor, wall, and ceiling here. A place that one thought was a floor becomes a chair, a ceiling, a wall from various positions. The floor levels are relative and spatiality is perceived differently according to one’s position. Here, people are distributed three-dimensionally in the space. This is a place like an amorphous landscape with a new experience of various senses of distances. Inhabitants discover, rather than being prescribed, various functionalities in these convolutions."

If wooden architecture is merely something made from wood, then wood itself surpasses the architectural procedures to directly become a “place where people live” in this bungalow. I was going through some personal shit last night.
To relax I went for a walk by myself down Queen West. Aimlessly, I somehow found myself at graf store, The Bomb Shelter.
There I meet Zion, he turns to me and tells me a story about hidden angels. How they come in all shapes, forms, and personalities.
The next morning I wake up to find the answer to what was bothering me.

The good people at CBD recently sent over their winter '08 collection and I sincerely want to take a moment to congratulate them for probably what I would consider their strongest collection to date.
From the tees to the crew necks, the folk inspired artwork is unique and radiates a very eerie but intriguing aura. The collection is mysterious, thought provoking, and I can't help to think why...how come?
The well executed look book is also responsible for these very real emotions. The monochrome photography and the multi-layer poem draw me in further.
Leaving me very interested and "In Search of Greener Pastures".....
Thanks to Alex from CBD, the future is now... we believe.

Truth be told I love to collect books; art books, architecture books, photography books, comic books, porno books(word) - anything, I'm down son. MUSIC/MOVIE: BEATLES ROOFTOP CONCERT FROM "LET IT BE" DOCUMENTARY
"Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." - John Lennon
The original concept for the film project called for the documentary to end with a live show, the first live public performance by the band since the end of their last tour, on August 29, 1966, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. However, agreeing on a format for the live show proved problematic. Paul McCartney suggested playing a small club, like the Beatles had in the early days. John Lennon suggested an overseas location such as Africa (although he also expressed a sarcastic desire to perform the show in an asylum). Ringo Starr held out for staying home in England. George Harrison showed little enthusiasm for any live performance at all.
After failing to agree on any other venue, the band settled for an unannounced concert atop their own building, Apple's headquarters in Savile Row near Piccadilly Circus. The Beatles, performed on January 30, 1969 with some rather surprised Londoners near the Apple headquarters as the music blasts out from the roof. The performance and the film close with the police arriving and shutting the concert down. The rooftop concert has been a popular bootleg ever since, and was to be the final public performance by the Beatles.

The original concept for the film project called for the documentary to end with a live show, the first live public performance by the band since the end of their last tour, on August 29, 1966, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. However, agreeing on a format for the live show proved problematic. Paul McCartney suggested playing a small club, like the Beatles had in the early days. John Lennon suggested an overseas location such as Africa (although he also expressed a sarcastic desire to perform the show in an asylum). Ringo Starr held out for staying home in England. George Harrison showed little enthusiasm for any live performance at all.
After failing to agree on any other venue, the band settled for an unannounced concert atop their own building, Apple's headquarters in Savile Row near Piccadilly Circus. The Beatles, performed on January 30, 1969 with some rather surprised Londoners near the Apple headquarters as the music blasts out from the roof. The performance and the film close with the police arriving and shutting the concert down. The rooftop concert has been a popular bootleg ever since, and was to be the final public performance by the Beatles.

After reading an art related post on "Lost in Wilderness", it got me thinking to a couple months back when I had a truly simplistic idea to transform a DIY Munny into a Krink K70 Squeeze mop. (NOTE: If this idea has already been done or taken please let me know)
